This basement finishing project in Johns Creek, GA transformed an underused lower-level area into a welcoming entertainment space with a custom kitchenette, a large island, practical storage, and carefully integrated lighting.
The Basement Remodeling Goal
The homeowners wanted a more functional place for entertaining while making better use of the existing basement. The design needed to coordinate cabinetry, appliances, plumbing, electrical work, lighting, and durable finishes within the available layout.
Planning and Construction
Skyline Projects coordinated the new bar wall and island footprint, utility locations, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, appliances, and finish details. Careful preparation helped the completed kitchenette fit naturally into the existing basement and maintain comfortable circulation around the island.
The Finished Basement Bar and Kitchenette
The completed space features gray cabinetry, glass-front display cabinets, light countertops, a full-height tile backsplash, beverage refrigeration, a sink, dishwasher, and a spacious center island. Recessed and cove lighting add warmth and help define the entertainment area.
